Re: Hasbro Power Rangers Lightning Collection Line

Perhaps shill is too harsh a term, but I'd take everything MMPRToys says with a grain of salt. He views it all from an extreme fanboy lens and is rarely critical of anything Power Rangers-related.

Meanwhile this is my go-to channel for Lightning news;
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yga55oPTP6E

He keeps it real. Even calls out the crappy Scale of the Monsters line here.

Also, he reports the information Hasbro would prefer to keep secret.. Looks like BLM MARS (Space Black) is showing up in listings for either Wave 9 or it's own exclusive release. This is one I want. Megablack's design is slick.

Eh I don't watch MMPR Toys for the reviews so I don't really care. I don't think a core team member would be an exclusive.

Place her next to King Sphinx or Pumpkin Rapper and it’ll look like Father / Daughter cosplay.

Re: Hasbro Power Rangers Lightning Collection Line

Thankfully the Andros/Space Red looks solid though. I want to customize that awkward Zordon 'figure' to display Red breaking the tube.

Proceed with caution if ordering these VS packs online, the painted visors are misaligned on some of them:

Hopefully these hit EB with the same easy availability as the Rita/Zedd twopack.

I thought I was just seeing things but I guess the paint really is misaligned. That's so weird. I think I'll hold out and wait for single releases.

Re: Hasbro Power Rangers Lightning Collection Line

I'm sure you can find versions where the QC is good and the visor is aligned.

It's just a matter of buying these in person, as opposed to blindly ordering online.

Most of the Lightning Collection 2packs have ended up in Toronto retail.

TRU got the Tommy/Putty. EB got the Rita/Zedd. Comic stores had the Leo/PsychoRed. And I found the SDCC Jason Twopack at Hasbro's Fanexpo Booth last year.

The Putty 2pack and Zordon/Alpha haven't arrived in Canadian stores yet though.

The pandemic is going to delay things inevitably.
