Re: Post your Action Figure hauls!

Well folks I've finally done it, I've reached that stage in my life where I've decided that high end collectibles are more important than cheaper products mass produced. Mind you I'll probably still grab an ocassional figure, but for the most part I've decided it's time to switch my focus a tiny bit.

I'm also going to be considering a bit of a purge to free up some space in my collection.

What brought this on?

Bandai, the past two weeks I've added the following to my collection:

D-Arts Ultimate Armour X
Monster Arts MechaGodzilla
Monster Arts Fire Rodan
Figuarts Sailor Mercury

Since this is a more expensive choice in collecting I'm also planning on cutting back the number of purchases per year and per month. There's just more satisfaction from owning a cherished character with high-end paint and detailing plus decent articulation than a dozen and one versions of Optimus Prime.

I'm probably not the only one, I mean look at all the third party love out there.

Anybody else think this way?

Re: Post your Action Figure hauls!

Just picked up six of the eight Series 2 Power Ranger Megaforce Blind Packs from Mega Bloxs. When the hell did these come out anyway? Because TRU just suddenly had them mixed in with Series 1 Cases.

Some QC Problems arose, my G-I-D Loogy has two right arms and the Yellow Ranger does not include the weapon that the checklist claims she's meant to. It's just the same little gun thing she had last time, what's the deal?

I am not sure when the Mega Bloks Power Ranger Megaforce Series 2 mystery packs started to show up at the other TRUs and Walmarts. My local TRU got them in before Christmas and I was able to get the entire set. I still need to get a new Blue Ranger because it came with 2 sets of Legs and no Torso piece.

I did pack openings and posted my videos in this thread: http://www.actionfigurenews.ca/board...9946#post59946

The codes for each figure is in the video description.

Yeah, that sucks! You can try contacting Mega Bloks customer service and get them to replace the Glow in the Dark Loogy figure for you.

I think they decided to switch out the Yellow Ranger's weapon. It does happen sometimes with Mega Bloks blind bags. Accessories may not always be the same as pictured in the figure sheet.

Re: Post your Action Figure hauls!

Amazon.ca delivered a certain three-headed beast today and man was I shocked by the size of the delivery box.

Beware MechaGodzilla, Fire Rodan and Godzilla Junior KING GHIDORAH has arrived.

I am again consistently impressed with the level of detail Bandai puts into their sculpting, these figures are definitely a huge improvement over standard mass retail figures from other toylines, then again that's what Adult Collectors Figures are meant to be.

Think he'll be my last purchase for a while though.
