Bane pictures:

Kinda looks like the Mattel version. Not so great in my books (and great for my wallet)

Re: Hot Toys or other 1/6th goodness that makes our wallets cry

Just got my Mark II AU from Urban Samurai today.
I asked them to use a bigger shipping box instead of just sending it in the Hot Toys shipper box, but they ignored my request. Luckily it arrived in good condition.

Now I'm waiting on my Mark VI IM2 version to arrive.

^Nice Coxon. The wallet will be beaten into submission when you are involved with HT lol

Catwoman was damn sexy in the movie (to my surprise) and I can't wait for the HT ver

Re: Hot Toys or other 1/6th goodness that makes our wallets cry

The Rescue Captain America came in from SS today!

First off, the art on the packaging is pretty amazing.

Picture of the insert, very detailed

What comes inside

Harness took forever to put on lol

The Helmet has texture to it, which is a nice touch

Whats under the helmet? Its a plastic helmet

Although there is a lot of gripe about the HS, its growing on me, I'm glad I got this figure

Weathered Shield (Sorry about the blurry pic)

Trying the Ultimates Look

Overall impression.

Pro:
-Very detailed, even down to the boot straps.
-The box art is fantastic
-this is my favorite look in Captain America TFA.
-the shield is awesome, the weathered look is a nice touch

Cons
-The use of the arm joints hinder range of movement, I can't lift the shield as high as I would want it.
-Price, for the price I paid; the figure should have been a 2-in-1 with the USO Captain America look.
-I wish there was more weathering to it, even an option to change the clothes to a "after battle" look

I would give this figure 8/10

Re: Hot Toys or other 1/6th goodness that makes our wallets cry

I will probably end up getting Bane just because I have everyone else. If I didn't collect the line though there is no way I would pick him up on his own.

Only 1 Payment left on my Tumbler from Sideshow
