Yea I did...decided to do the Flexpay path with him..sucks that I got hammered with duties

Ah well, we live and learn.

But he is an amazing figure, really glad I got him. 3 down with the Avengers figures (Cap, Hawkeye, and Fury) 4 more to go!

I was breaking down the shipping box the Tumbler came in and found this inside. I guess Sideshow sent me a free 2013 calendar. I assume they did this with all recent orders or something? Anyway, I wasn't going to keep it, but it's actually pretty good quality with nice art inside. So I guess I'll keep it now.

Re: Hot Toys or other 1/6th goodness that makes our wallets cry

Hey folks, i've saved my birthday and christmas money and decided to get the HT bat pod and hopefully catwoman when she comes out.

The bat pod is in chicago and should arrive at the end of this week. I have been doing a butt load of research for this guy and seems like there are some QC issues. Here are some that i found on the sideshow forums.

"Crooked front wheel, with differences in severity.

Stiff/loose handlebars that just can't seem to stay upright. (Seems to be the most common problem)

Spot(s) of super glue on the wheel.

Somewhat loose battery cover."

Anything else I should check to make sure the figure is acceptable (i know its subjective)

Even though it cost me so much money, I realize its not realistic to expect a 100% perfect figure. But i definitely don't won't a dud.

Thanks a bunch. If this purchase goes well, perhaps I'll invest in the iron man armours!!

The left gun is a little warped on mine. Not a big deal. I think overall, now that I've had my Bat Pod for a while, it's a great piece, but on its own doesn't do much for me. However, with Batman and with the Tumbler, it's awesome. It's hard to see my Batman collection without any one of those pieces now.

Re: Hot Toys or other 1/6th goodness that makes our wallets cry

So what do you guys think of this? Looks like a much smaller BAT, which I'm fine with. I wonder if a 6" figure can fit in there? If so, it would be nice if I could fit the Mafex Batman in there.

Also, looks like an armory for Batman, but I can't tell which movie that one is from. Oh, and a bat signal.
