Kinda hard to make out much detail, but the figures themselves look pretty decent. The accessories, on the other hand, look kinda silly. That is one chunky bladed sword and pointy-pointy shield there.

They need action features. And giving Thor characters missile launchers would be more silly. So they get swords and shields with pop-out action.

at least its nice to see Thor is not coming with a ATV or Motorcycle. I guess combustion engines have not reached Asgard yet

Who needs combustion engines when you have personal teleporters. Don't forget the Asgardians are aliens with super advanced technology.

Not in the Marvel universe. It's been the editorial policy for years. The movie makes them aliens with Auther C. Clarke level tech (indistinguishable from magic). In the comics the Asgardians, Olympians, and Heliopolians are "extra dimensional beings", not gods. Can't piss of the Christians you know.
