Re: Hot Toys or other 1/6th goodness that makes our wallets cry
My favorite suit!! Looks really good, though I wish they'd make the thighs completely silver. There's so much nostalgia asssociated with that suit as that was when I started following getting into the IM and West Coast Avengers comics. I would seriously be interested in getting it, but then I'd probably have to go looking for an Iron Monger for a companion piece.
Hoping to see Wonder Man, Mockingbird, and Vision for Age of Ultron!

Re: Hot Toys or other 1/6th goodness that makes our wallets cry
Updated Hot Toys shelf after I got the IM Mk.7:
Sadly, Hot Toys are getting too expensive too numerous and to be a completist on Iron Man armors; I have the Mk.42 and Iron Patriot preordered, but nothing else. I may go for the Mk.33 Silver Centurion since Stark wears it for more then 5 seconds in the movie, but I might be drawing the line there.

Yeah, it definitely is sad to see SPC go. I guess I got "lucky", in a way: I found out about the preorders for the Iron Patriot and Mk.42 too late to get it from SPC, and ended up preordering from USH instead. My only open preorder for anything Hot Toys from SPC was Robocop, which I immediately reordered at USH as well...

Re: Hot Toys or other 1/6th goodness that makes our wallets cry
Well Legends Action Figures is closing, and now I have no idea where to pre-order my Hot Toys fix. *sniffle* It was a great store.
But how am I going to get my Man of Steel, and Thor?!
Anyone have any good sites to order Hot Toys from?

What's USH? I also need a place to buy my hot toys and don't want to support sideshow directly.

Sad to see another Canadian store close soon after I closed SPC. I'll tell you guys, it's very tough to be in this business in Canada. Paying in US dollars, customs fees and not to mention being stuck with inventory people don't buy.
Don't be surprised if other Canadian stores start closing. It's not the best economy for the toy business right now.

USH is urban samurai hobbies ( I believe I have a link on the first page)
AS for other dealers you can buy from that are Canadian, Toys2 is a place that I have been buying regularly (before SPC of course ) and they are a direct dealer from Hot Toys (much like SS)
Unfortunately the Diecast MK 42 preorders have dried up for Canadian retailers, and SS is kinda the last resort.

thanks buddy, I know Toys2 very well, I used to buy my hot toys there in person from the owner, Eric. Guess I'll go back to him since USH is on the west coast, shipping will cost more.
