Batmobile dropped to $87 on Amazon for a few minutes, and I lucked out on getting it at that price. Now it's back up to $99

McFarlane posted this on Facebook:

"Superman (DC Classic)" pre-order on December 8.

Didn't specify if it was exclusive or wide release.

I'm guessing the online scalper bots bought out the Wonder Woman figure in that short amount of time?

I know the body is the same one as the Page Punchers Superman. Personally, I like the new head sculpt, although I've already heard some complaining about it online. Some people just can't be pleased with anything. lol

I think it's the best Superman so far, but there is definitely room for improvement. The smile is a bit wonky, but otherwise I like the head. The hands don't look to be as ridiculously oversized as the fists on the Page Punchers version, but we'll have to see in-person. And while I do not like the S buckle, I think the light blue colour is really nice, and the S shield on the chest is way better than on the Hush Superman.

Re: McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse toyline

Despite the issues with the figure, I think I still prefer the Action Comics #1000 Superman over this one.

For me, looking at AC1000 Supes and this photo, I prefer AC1000 for the trunks/belt, blue colour of the suit and the cape (though I can't really see the cape in the photo).

Head sculpt and chest symbol I consider a wash. I like both head sculpts, and the symbols are both great, just different.

So for now I'll stick with AC1000, but I think this one could be a very close second.

Re: McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse toyline

I like this Supes body but I will wait for reviews. Always up to get a better superman. I wonder if head swaps would work as the smile on this one is meh.

My current Supes is a kitbash of AC1000 torso/head/undies/boots with Rebirth arms and upper legs. I'll swap out the lower torso to the bigger rebirth one eventually.

I like AC1000 chest symbol most, real big and shiny, like a shield hanging from the chest instead of being moulded into the muscle.

Thanks. If gamestop.ca gets it, then this will be my backup.
