Star Wars AT-AT Released at Canadian Retail

The Star Wars All Terrain Armored Transport (AT-AT) has been found in Canadian TRU stores. This new version is over 2 feet or 60 centimeters high and includes not only an AT-AT driver, but also a Speeder Bike. Additionally there is a version that a bonus Imperial Stormtrooper in Hoth Battle Gear (Snowtrooper). Thanks to AFN members StarWarsTF and Prowl_2009 for the reports.

The "exclusive" version was only available at Chinook Hobby in Calgary. They indicated on their Facebook site they were the only place in western North America to get this deal. I'm not sure if / where it can be found in the east. They went fast, about 3 days (60 i believe?).

The snowtroopers are not new, they are the VTSG figure without the clamshell, still a nice extra.

Why did you have to fold the receipt in half

I am reading reports on Snowtroopers.ca that the Canadian version does not have any phrases. Just lights and sounds. Can anyone confirm this?

The bonus version I got from Chinook Hobby here in Calgary has all the bells and whistles.

What sucks though is they didn't use the film samples of Vader or General Veers. They're rerecorded by voice actors, and the Vader is horrible. It sounds like he has a cold.

Chinook only carries US carded toys. I would imagine had this been a Canadian release version, it would be missing the phrases as well. Mine are from Chinook as well and they both work great.
