No duties from HasLab. All the taxes are paid up front.

Do you remember the shipping amount? I can calculate the total from that.

Did the same thing myself and I don't know I can commit almost $1000 CDN on this. Shipping alone was around $100 USD which is absurd and also 20% of the retail price! I recall ordering multiple Sentinels and that total shipping was $29.99 USD, the same max threshold it's at now for non Haslab Pulse orders.

Plus, if you happened to order 2 shipping simply doubles, no volume discount, so $200 USD to ship 2 to Canada! Madness!

Hasbro has lost their mind on the shipping of these Haslabs to Canada.

The Ghost is bigger than the BMF. And that was a giant square box almost a foot thick - 26 inches by 24 by 10 using the Galaxy Edge dimensions and 17 pounds on Amazon still. Plug that into Canada Post and its expensive, so FedEx is probably right up to that $100 USD charge.

But yeah, C$859 all in shipped to AB for a once in a lifetime ship is a no-brainer for me.

I don't know how you can tell that for certain? Its not something up to Hasbro.

I know anything I order from the states is hit and miss of duty charges. Some do, some don't.

Pulse charges all federal and provincial taxes up front, and remits to the government. They are effectively operating as though they are in Canada. It has always been like that with them.

It doesn't matter what other US retailers do. This is what Hasbro Pulse does.

Ghost:

15,232 / 8,000 (+1,499) 190.40% of funding goal with 18h+ left.

NICE!! 1,500 backers in the last 24 hours. Can we get 1,768 more in the last 18 hours? OF COURSE WE CAN!!

It will be interesting to see how this does in the final hours. I will completely, and utterly, shocked if Zeb doesn't unlock. I will say I wonder where it will end. I kind of expected 20,000+, but it could fall short.

Are you saying you are getting it or passing? Because despite all my protests I am still in the fence, due to the 1x only nature of it. Gah, what to do?

I went back and forth on Unicron like this and decided to pass as it was in the area of $1000CDN all in and now I do regret that (I think).

I still feel the shipping is out of whack. I paid $30USD to ship the Razorcrest in 2021, I cannot see pricing going up to what they are charging now.

Re: Haslab Projects General Discussion

Thanks. I looked a bit deeper and it does give an explanation on their website relating to them having their own customs broker. Good to know.
