The closest store to me will only adjust within 7 days. So timing the order and getting a sale will be tough unless there is enough of this X-Men wave to do a rebuy on-sale and then return.
The TRU.ca "price adjustment process" was the worst online experience I've had in years. Less than 2 weeks ago, I ordered Nuke, Cap, and IM figuring I'd at least get half the wave, and they were on-sale showing $20.97 for everyone except Nuke (who was somehow $29.99). Nuke shipped and I received him a few days later.
I emailed them as soon as the order went-in to ask for an adjustment on Nuke. Received no reply after several days. Called them on Thursday before the sale ended. They needed to see the item on the website. It disappeared, so after 20 mins they typed-in some notes and said to wait a few days for a supervisor to reply.
Friday, received an email saying Cap and IM were cancelled. Argh.
Saturday, a Supervisor emailed me to ask me to call them on Saturday. Called them up. 20 mins later I got Nuke adjusted and saved $9.02.
It would've been a whole lot easier to just go to the store.
