I'm thinking of pre-ordering some Black Series figures from Entertainment Earth, but since I can't go over the border I'll have to ship here to Canada. Has anyone here done that before, and have shipments gotten customs (tax) added on? The shipping and exchange rate bring the prices just up to my breaking point, so if they get another 13% added on at the border that would make it not worth it for me. Stupid COVID - I miss being able to get free shipping to my US box and just running over whenever I want to pick them up.

I got hit with customs last time I ordered from them. It was Baze and Chirrut, which after that fee, shipping and exchange made them about $45 CAD each.

I meant to add that the first time I ordered from Entertainment Earth I did not get charged any customs fees.

Nothing really. I usually order waves by the case but the next wave I only want half the figures, so just looking into reliable options for pre-ordering individual ones. Amazon orders tend to get cancelled, and I haven't seen The Armourer up yet with my usual Canadian e-tailers.

I see that Toy Snowman added Cad Bane and Armourer pre-orders to his site. I got in on those, no need for EE anymore.

Just saw some leaks of the individual figures for Han, Luke and Leia from the Endor set. So minus Paploo and the Speeder bike people can still the set without convention exclusive...
