I open a toy & post it here... VOL 2!

Unfortunately due to Photobucket’s new pay-wall policy (how dare they want to make money?!), Vol 1 of the “Open a Toy and Post it here” was pretty well wiped clean. It was a total bummer as I had amassed 130 reviews over a number of months, but I suppose it happens. I’m going to continue with Vol 2 of my reviews but first I wanted to provide a greatest hits of sorts for each review I did before. I’m also still working on new reviews and I hope to provide them more consistently now that my life has calmed down some. Forgive some of the pictures as It was quite apparent that it was a learning experience from the start; hopefully they get better as the thread progresses.

As always, thanks for looking and I hope you enjoy looking at pictures of toys.

1 DCC TNAS Batman

2 Disney Infinity Tinkerbell

3 Jakks Pacific Mario

4 Mattel Surfing Batman

5 Hasbro Star Lord

10 Disney Infinity Drax

Amazing Yamaguchi Venom

Happy to share in this thread! I noticed the same issue with the Action Figure Haul thread too with all the dead links and subscribe icons instead of pictures of wonderful toys!

This Venom is now my favourite Venom figure. I own the Select, Marvel Legends, Icons and many other Venom figures and this one definitely beats them all. It's 6" so it's not huge but the articulation, detail and more makes for an amazing Venom figure. My favourite part is that the symbiote is sculpted to feel alive and it looks wonderful. I just opened it yesterday and will be doing some more poses.

That's a good looking venom, but I have always preferred the simple look over the monster design. I may still pick up the Revoltech Spidey if I can find him.

Moving on, lots of Disney Infinity on the horizon:

11 Playmates OG Raphael

12 Disney Infinity Rocket

13 Disney Infinity Iron Fist

14 Disney Infinity Aladdin

15 Disney Infinity Merida

Ooh, a nice mix of stuff here including Star Wars EU. I wonder if it will ever get any Disney love. I will also take this time to say that I was REALLY disappointed that the Thinkway Pixar line died the way it did as it had a lot of potential.

16 Disney Infinity Donald Duck

17 Hasbro Darth Malgus

18 Thinkway Toys Mr. Incredible

19 Hasbro Galen Marek

20 Hasbro Leader AOE Optimus

21 Disney Infinity Maleficent
Not a huge fan of this Jolie version of Maleficent.

22 Mattel TDNK Batman
I’m always a sucker for Frank Miller's TDKR Batman and Mattel did an ok job with it.

23 Bandi 1st Armored Baymax
A souvenir from the now defunct Times Square Toys R Us, as a big fan of anything Baymax I’m happy that this figure was produced.

24 Disney Infinity Star Lord
Great figure from a great movie.

25 Disney Infinity Gamora
Ditto.

Yikes, a whole group of Infinity for a Wednesday. I continue to mourn the loss of the Infinity line. Maybe I should have actually played the game?
26 Disney Infinity Spiderman

27 Disney Infinity Nova

28 Disney Infinity Captain America

29 Disney Infinity Red Falcon

30 Disney Infinity Venom

31 Mattel Lead Bottom
Feel free to judge me, but I like the Planes movies. Yes they are contrived and silly, but I feel they are also charming and have fantastic visuals. The sequel was also legitimately good as a Disney picture.

32 Mattel Bravo
Bravo gets bonus pooints for the Top Gun reference.

33 Hasbro Deaths Head
I have long since stopped collecting 3 ¾ inch figures, but I was swayed due to his Transfomers connection.

34 Hasbro Hound
Hound is my favorite Bay-verse character and I like this figure quite a bit.

35 Vinylmation Roger Rabbit
Disney sovenier for one of my favorite movies/attractions? Yes please.

Really enjoying seeing your stuff here, man

That Hound is one sweet bot. Love the multiple gun configurations.
