This is fantastic news... now maybe my local TRU will get more Renegades waves (with StormShadow) rather than the crapola that is the movie figures. Bring on more PoC...

Damn, that sucks! They should of thought of that in the beginning if they wanted the film to be in 3D. They created all that buzz and gave us all those teasers and then drop this on us! Boo! Was so looking forward to seeing it next month too.

So will the figures still be released as scheduled? If they are, I guess the upside is that the movie line won't be shelved and we get wave 4 with the Crimson Guard and Night Viper. If it gets pushed back, I hope we get more 30th Anniversary/Renegades stuff. ......or they give us the Dollar Store Exclusive Joes.

The way I see it, this is a really shit move. And don't expect other toys on the shelves, if we have any Joes at all at Major Retailers after this announcement I'll be surprised beyond belief.

My guess, Wal-Mart and the other major retailers will demand that Hasbro buy back the already stocked items at double the cost, due to false advertizing on a massive scale, and then if we see anything at all at any of the Retailers it will be left over scraps at discount chains across the globe while we wait impatiently to see a still hopefully kick-ass film.

Of course, if the world ends this December we'll just all die never knowing what Retaliation was going to be like.

This never would have happened if those Yokels had released Joe first before Battleship, or just stuck to releasing Battleship when it was meant to originally get a release instead of sticking it up against The Avengers in Summer Blockbuster slots.

"More GI Joe toys coming soon!" was the note posted on the shelf at my local TRU. I wonder what that means now. Movie figures, 30th Anniversary/Renegades, POC Wave 5 figures (I sure hope not), or check back next year.
