So basically, what they're trying to say is that they're gonna upscale it to 3d to try to recoup the losses from Battleship. Kinda late in the game to be doing it, ain't it? Especially with all the advertisign that was going on what with the actor interviews and trailers.

I'm very curious as to what the cast's reaction was to the announcement.

Let's not forget about the pricey superbowl spot, a lot of wasted promoting (and money). Haha, I wonder if they're thinking they can make the elephant dollars that Hunger Games made from its March release. The move will probably backfire on them, and they'll end up with Wrath of the Titans numbers.

Just curious, what would be everyone's reaction if next week they decided to retract this move and proceed as planned with the June 26th release?

I would say clever ploy and getting alot of people to believe you. Personally, it doesn't matter to me. I can wait. Some of hose figs look ok and that should hold me till whenever it actually comes out.
