I found him yesterday in the USA at Gamestop. They wanted $40US for him. I had them double check cause BBTS was charging only $26US for it.

Hope EB doesn't go the way of gamestop with the pricing

It was hard to pass on in my hands but I can wait

Wow, that price is a definite no. Marvel Legends is going to be out the door for me if the price of the mainline figures gets raised.

Probably they will at some point, but the grey hulk GameStop higher price apparently has something to do with it being in a white box. Apparently it has the Americans all annoyed with GameStop and refusing to buy it there.

I think JayC(?) on YouTube said that action figure prices are likely to rise due to increased tariffs. I’m sure this will effect Canadian prices.

It already is. I collect the Dragon Ball Dragon Stars figures, which are usually $29.99 at EB Games. I preordered the upcoming waves and each figure costs $35.

I'm at a point where I need to downsize my collection, so increases to the prices to most mainline action figures makes it easier for me to buy less (or none altogether). Other than the Fantastic 4 wave, I feel like Hasbro is starting to run out of ideas for new Marvel Legends.

I'm going to stick to collecting Transformers (3P included), Dragon Ball, and the Power Rangers Lightning Collection.

This is why importing from our US counterparts (companies) suck. We shouldn't be feeling any of those tariffs from the USA/China trade war. Ugh.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

Yikes - I just can’t imagine paying more than $30 for Hasbro figs - luckily I don’t collect MCU or have any interest in the EB exclusives. The quality is just not there - I mean I just received my pink lightning collection ranger and it was an absolute mess. Sigh. I agree, I might have to be more selective of what I buy after the Fantastic Four wave.

Anyone know when the Alpha Flight set will reappear on Amazon?
