Captain America: The First Avenger Wave 3 Released in Canada
Thanks to a sighting made by AFN member Whitter, we now know that Captain America: The First Avenger Wave 3 figures have hit Canadian retail. This wave consists of Jungle Trooper Captain America, Night Mission Captain America, and Hydra's Armoured Soldier.
The sighting was made at a Walmart in Ontario.

Anyone know when the 6" ones are going to be released in Canada?

Imo, wave 3 is definitely the worst of the waves so far. I don't understand why the Hydra soldier is so popular though...the overall sculpt and paint app/colors is ugly. The MU Hydra soldier is far superior.

Haha, I never liked the DD body they used for the MU 3-pack, hence why I passed on em. I don't really mind the movie Hydra, since they got decent articulation. Plus I could pass their weapons to my AIM army I have amassed. Hopefully the variant colored ones aren't too hard to find.

Re: Captain America: The First Avenger Wave 3 Released in Canada
I went absolutely mad for the CA:FA figs, but after I got Capt. Britain, Heroic Age, USAgent, crossbones, redskull, Winter Soldier, WW2 cap, Ultimate Cap etc., I was pretty much satisfied that I had gotten the only sculpts in the line that I was interested in - however, is there really a Nick Fury figure out there for this line? I've heard tell of it, but not yet seen it.
Cheers

are you referring to the movie Nick Fury?
There is a 6" version that is coming out in the Captain America line, but for 3 3/4", the Iron Man 2 Fury of Combat is your best bet

Re: Captain America: The First Avenger Wave 3 Released in Canada
Excellent, thanks.
I only stumbled across that TRU Exclusive once and regretted not picking it up - holding out for a repaint or reissue of old fury there, oh well, maybe for the movie next summer.
Mind boggling that they're going to bother with a six-inch version, but hasbro moves in mysterious ways.

I don't see why that's mind boggling. There's still a lot of fans out there who want 6" figures a lot more than they do the 3.75" ones. If possible, Hasbro would want both the people who like either line to pick up their figures, so it makes perfect sense that they would bring back the 6" figures, especially considering the return of Marvel Legends.
And in the chance that you're talking specifically about Nick Fury being in 6" form, well they already made the mold back with the ML 2-packs, and this is a way to rerelease it (though the torso and the head have been remolded/remade). And it makes sense that they would release him because there's already a 6" figure for each of the current movie Avengers, so why not have Fury as well, especially since he has a ridiculous likeness to how he looks in the movie (Sam Jackson obviously).
