Re: Marvel Legends 2012

Quick question.

I was at my local comic shop the other day and they had wave 2 in stock. The question is:

Is Big Time Spiderman supposed to be black with green lines, or large splashes of green where the black is supposed to be?

I ask because the BT Spiderman looked to have a green wash over the torso and part of the legs making him more green than black.

Ya, unfortunately the green wash on Spidey didn't turn out how Hasbro wanted it to, and it ended up looking nothing like the prototype. So ya, the green wash is just how the figure ended up.

Yeah, I agree. The figure looks nothing like the prototype. I saw the green Spidey today and I think Hasbro should have just left out the green wash on the figure. It would have looked way better without it.

Re: Marvel Legends 2012

Marvel Legends Wave 2 has currently arrived at TRU.CA. They appear to have all 7 characters listed at $19.99 each but only 6 are currently in stock, Piledriver/Thunderball is out of stock. At least you get free shipping when you buy 3 or more.

Re: Marvel Legends 2012

Hey guys and gals! Two quick questions : Has anyone found Red Deadpool, FF Doom, Dani Moonstar or Blade at their LCS? And is anyone holding a SDCC X-Force 3-pack that they would like to sell? (I've been unsuccessful in tracking one down so far). Thanks!

One more thing, ROML Series 1, and many other figures are 25% off at Zellers right now. I picked up another Constrictor and Klaw for just over $28 taxes in.

Check that, it's 30% off all action figures (oops!)

Re: Marvel Legends 2012

What are you looking to pay for the X-Force set? PM me.

I got my X-Force Deadpool at the Action Figure Expo earlier this month and my Fandomex at the end of October so my Uncanny X-Force collection looks pretty nice.

Thumbs up Re: Marvel Legends 2012

My LCS (Galaxy, Wpg.), just got the Hit Monkey series this week, so i picked them all up and they are all amazing. Of course there are a few minor paint app issues, but nothing I'm worried about. The big surprise for me is Wolverine. I haven't opened my X-Force 3-pack yet, but the real difference is only a grey to silver paint change. Hyperion has a lazy eye, but I've heard that's common. Red She-Hulk rocks!!

Has anyone opened their MS Rhino? I haven't, but I'd like to know how he fits with the ML Spideys...

I picked up a MS Rhino a couple weeks ago. I can't say how it compares to ML Spidey since I don't have one, but he ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a few MS figs, mostly big hulking types (Juggernaut, Thanos, Colossus, etc.) and he fits in perfectly with them. Great sculpt and heft, just like most MS figs.

AND, on top of that $25 like the new MLs anyway...Perfect!!!

Re: Marvel Legends 2012

I too collect all of the MS big boys, that is to say the ones that I think will fit with the ML. Earlier I was praising Wolverine from the Hit Monkey wave and I just noticed that his left bicep is backwards, ugh.

I'm not sure if I can ask this here, as I know there is a custom thread, but I've never boil and popped a figure before. Is there a customs for dummies that I can read?
