Re: G.I. Joe Classified Series 6 inch discussion

Nice all three of them are great figures. I actually like the retro Recondo a lot more then I thought I was going to. I'm just waiting on Duke, Scarlett and Metal Head who are also my biggest wants out of the new assortment

Toynewsi.com posted some pics of the retro Duke, Scarlett and Recondo figures, including comparison pics to previous versions of the figures and the larger animated ones from Super7.

Re: G.I. Joe Classified Series 6 inch discussion

I prefer the retro scarlet and duke by miles over the past releases.

I also think tiger force and python patrol are silly looking to say the least.

but tiger force recondo looks really good, sticking with og but i did spend a week thinking before pulling the trigger on one of them.

I really like the Retro Scarlett. Wondering if they have improved the cardback for these releases. My Storm Shadow, Snake Eyes and Baroness cardbacks are pretty thin. Would be nice if they were solid like the Marvel Comics Spider-Man cards.

So far so good with the new releases.

Of the reviews I have seen so far about Retro Duke and Recondo all of them have much stronger cardbacks. On par with the Marvel Legends Retro figures.

So it is pretty safe to say they shouldn't be a problem going forward.

I decided I was only going to pick up Tiger Force and Night Force figures if I could find them at discounted prices. I got TF Recondo when he was $11.99 at Target and TF Duke & RAM when it was half off at TRU. I did pick up TF Outback at normal price from Target, because it's a great looking figure and in my opinion looks better than the regular Outback. They dropped the ball with that entire wave.

I'm really running out of display space, so that makes passing on repaints even easier. My buddy just gave me 13 totes full of vintage Joe vehicles and HQ parts plus a Terrordrome and Defiant and I have no idea where I'm gonna put everything. Oh, the problems of a collector...lol.

Also in other news...got the call from GS to pickup my Techno Viper and Boa...got Scarlet Spider retro yesterday too...ugh so much at once...almost like it's coming up on end of quarter.

Got my 60th Anniversary Action Soldier from GS. I must say, it is a nice one. Love the accessories. I'll look to pick up more if and when they go on sale.
