So the sequel 7-9 does exist unlike what he was insisting did not for the past 15 yrs. That or he ran out of toy ideas with all the re-re-re-releases of vader and skywalker.

The live action series has been in planning for a while now. Last I heard Lucas wasn't happy with the cost per episode for it.
It might be delayed at this point.

well the Thrawn has been said to be the unoffical and offical trilogy. So, who knows if this is true, if it is, it should be the Thrawn trilogy. Or something entirely new.

Very interesting. I think they should do more prequels. I think there is probably a better story there, but I'd be more excited for sequels whether or not they involved Skywalkers, but I hope that they would.

Anything Lucas has planned will have nothing to do with Thrawn, unfortunalty. It would be something brand new.

Wasn't the rumored sequel trilogy supposed to involve Luke turning to the dark side and Leia learning the arts of the Jedi to fight her brother?
Either way I suspect that - in the end - if such a thing comes to pass the fans will still bitch and moan.
Here's a serious question. With all this Anakin Skywalker interacting with Jabba the Hutt stuff in the Prequel era how is it that Jabba didn't react to the Skywalker name in Jedi? Or was it a subtle reaction that has escaped my notice?

But why would Jabba react to the Skywalker name? The clone Wars cartoon hadn't come into existence yet to retroactively make everyone in the universe crowded together mingling with one another...
Really though, Jabba over 17 or so years has probably dealt with so many aliens and people that the name Skywalker was probably all but forgotten. To him, a Jedi is a Jedi is a dead Jedi if they mess with him, no doubt.
