Re: The Clone Wars: Season 3 Episode 8 Discussion Thread

I'm going to be perfectly honest. I think that a lot of viewers of this show are taking it way too seriously and over-analyzing stuff about it.

Just looking over at TFW2005 people are constantly complaining about this jumpy timeline of events due to the fact that episodes are done the way they are.

However in the end run I for one think this is merely a fun show and will continue to enjoy it, timeline be damned.

The only reason that the series is made completely out of sinc in the first place is so George Lucas can turn another profit for all the people rushing to buy up the Season Sets now because we all know he's going to pull a Star Wars the Clone Wars Chronolgical Series Set by Episode once it's finished. (Provided they ever make an actual end to it.)

That being said. I really am enjoying every episode I watch. It really is like watching a Star Wars movie in short bursts and stuff. I eagerly anticipate the next episode and hopefully for Christmas this year I can score the first two seasons on Blu-Ray and the full-length film.

Re: The Clone Wars: Season 3 Episode 8 Discussion Thread

The problem for me is that they are not being upfront about where the shows appear in the timeline.

If they did that I would have no issue, but when I'm watching a show thinking its(or being fooled into thinking) its a sequel to Hostage Crisis and then the last scene pulls the carpet out from under my feet...........well, meh

Also if I'm confused where does that leave the average viewer?

Re: The Clone Wars: Season 3 Episode 8 Discussion Thread

I have no idea why, but as I watched this episode, R2-D2's and C-3P0's day kind of reminded me of that Seinfeld episode where Jerry and Elaine are on the plane and have two very different experiences. R2-D2 is like Jerry enjoying himself at the spa, while poor C-3PO is like Elaine having a miserable time.

Re: The Clone Wars: Season 3 Episode 8 Discussion Thread

I've been missing a lot of episodes this year due to work and a lack of replays on Teletoon. I'll catch up eventually.
