I love hobbywave. Granted I haven't put together a kit in awhile, but most of my purchases have been through them

Re: The Gundam Model Kit Thread

I've been thinking of buying a HGUC RX-78-2 (I think) for some time. Anyone have it too so they can give some thoughts about the kit?

Get the 30th Anniversary HGUC Gundam instead. More pose-able and better proportions.

Re: The Gundam Model Kit Thread

^ Is that the one that hasn't come out yet? I heard from a friend a while ago, I may pick that up.

Kits I'm planning to buy sometime this year or next year (hope to get at least one and build one before summer ends...) are: MG Infinite Justice, MG Sword Strike/Launcher Strike, and MG RX-78 One Year War. Force Impulse and Sword Impulse look awesome as well so I might pick those up sometime in the future too.

You can just order from Hobbywave, I think they're based in Burnaby.

Hmm I never knew they were based in Burnaby, but for a store that close I still have to pay shipping, kind of lame how they won't let you pick up. Their prices don't seem too bad though.
