Stealthy Joe fans have spotted the brand new*G.I. Joe Classified Series Retro Cardback Baroness at a Washington State Walmart. This is our first in-package look at the figure. The artwork is inspired by the ARAH cardback art; with a nice Classified Series twist. In addition to that, we have a good look at the back of the packaging as well. I'm hoping that warping and bending on the card is from poor/careless packing, and or handling. I want these cards to be the same as the ML retro cards. A nice hard cardboard that doesn't warp or bend easily.

I still haven't wrapped my head around how these fit with the main Classified line. Obviously they're repaints, but even the faces seem to be more cartoony (for lack of a better word), like Destro and the extra makeup on Baroness and Lady Jaye. Seems like their look wouldn't fit with the prior releases

It looks like its on the flimsy side. The way the blister appears to be secured to the card, and there is no sign of any double-thickness at the peg hole at the top. Makes me think it?s just a single-layer of card with a blister glued to it like any other smaller figure would have

Unfortunately, there are grooves on her temples for where the glasses go. Doesn't look great, if you're like me, and want to keep these sealed for display.

I'm guessing the cardback is the same quality as the Star Wars Vintage 6" series.

Yeah, this line being Walmart exclusive should really help with the availability issues...
