I hope this causes a shift. Or at the very least, rethinking about how to make packaging that isn't asking to get abused.

I believe there was a rumour that Walmart and Target are not happy with Hasbro's windowless packaging, and any changes would likely be spurred by their complaints.

And really, it'll end up like trading cards. But part of the whole point of trading cards is the surprise. Also, it's accepted that you're buying a random pack. Also, cards don't cost $40 a pack (at retail).
For this reason I'm done with Hasblow after I get the last few things I want from them. Going to take my money elsewhere. They've gone out of control with greed and don't care about the consumer anymore. Just about profits and the way they openly show it off is just disgusting. Which is enough motivation in itself for me to stop buying.

They already have stopped taking returns for closed-box items at my local store. I was told that if I opened my Motormaster it wasn't going to be returnable.

The key thing is they told you that when you were purchasing it.

As for TRU, got a development. A TF collector over at Cybertron.ca said the clerk told them that they thought the policy was only regarding the new windowless packaged toys aimed at collectors.

Way to stick it to them... by getting a few more things lol

I think 90% of collectors have cut back with the new increases. I'm just thankful buying by the cases is still good value.

Unfortunately I need those last few things to round out my collection. Well. Maybe a little more than a few. I'll be sticking it to them real soon.

So Amazon Canada actually came through and delivered me a Mojo today, I don't know how many people got lucky since it appears to be out of stock, and even when I ordered it had no definitive date, but here we are.
