Their preorder price is less than retail and they have flat shipping within Canada for 14.50CAD.
So the final cost is about the same as SuperPowerCollectibles.

Not sure how long it takes them to get the figures in and ready for sale though.
I just PO Captain America with them, no deposit needed.
Now I just need to get Hawkeye and Fury (maybe)
great to have another source. Kinda sucks that they only ship once a week (Tuesdays)

anybody shop from them before?

Thanks for the link.
Been looking for a Canadian location to buy the Ironman Mk.IV+Gantry; SuperPowerCollectibles has been sold out on preorders for that. Plus, their price is very good for that piece.

Well, some people have said that it's run by the same people who ran the old A3U.
Personally, I've never had an issue with Spencer even during the period of the big mess (in fact, my experience with him and his store was quite pleasant even until the end), so I took the plunge and ordered the $500 Mk.IV+Gantry from there. I just got billed for it, so we'll see how this goes.

Haha. Yeah.

I bought the Mk.II AU and Mk.V on eBay, and while it was in-transit to me from BC, the Avengers Mk.VI went up for order at Sideshow Collectibles. So I bought and received that, and then received the other two.

I'm actually splitting the Mk.IV+Gantry with someone; I have no need/use/space for the Gantry, I just mainly needed a Mk.IV.

And then comes the waiting game. Mk.I ver2.0 in August, Mk.VII whenever they release it, and like everyone else, I'm hoping for a Mk.III ver2.0 based on the Mk.II AU molds...

And somewhere in-between, I gotta get myself a War Machine. My wallet's hating me.

I have been to their store in Lougheed Mall. Urban Samurai was the main store, and A3U had a wall to themselves within the store. A3U, from what I understood, was sold by Spencer to a new owner (Boris?) And just a couple months ago, the Urban Samurai sign on the outside of the store was replaced with an A3U sign, and form what I gather, it's A3U now. Whatever happened to Urban Samurai, whether A3U took them over or if US is just an online retailer now as a separate entity to A3U, or whatever... I have no idea.

Long story short - I have never really had any negative dealings with them, even with Spencer from A3U, but I never really bought anything online. I always went into the store to buy, but from what I can see, the new guys seem pretty decent. I have a Maketoys Giant on preorder with A3U, so they'd better come through, lol.

(you can ignore the Play Arts Kai Ninja )

And now I'm done for the time being with Hot Toys! Still missing a few, but for now:
- Mk.I = ver2.0 coming in August
- Mk.III = like everyone else, hoping for a ver2.0 based on the Mk.II AU mold
- Mk.IV = I have my Suit-Up Gantry + Mk.IV preordered
- Mk.VII = whenever they release him

I love that WM. do be careful with the torso, I've read some people have snap the internal connector piece when posing

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't really fiddle around with his torso much; I was already afraid of breaking something when I was trying to pull out his shoulder rockets.

Sadly, the head and hand batteries were dead (the chest ones were fine), so now I gotta go buy some.

Here are my Ironmen so far. Only awaiting the Mk.IV+Gantry now, and probably toss in a preorder for the Mk.I.

So as a separate part, I bought an extra one of those Hall-of-Armor bases that come with the Mk.II AU or the Mk.V. While it works fine on the Mk.VI, it does NOT work well with War Machine. The clear rod interferes with the ammo belt coming out of War Machine's back. The only way to get it work on him is to cut the rod short (which I'm not sure I'm willing to do).
I'm going to see if I can find a shorter rod of similar thickness to replace it.
