Hasbro's March Star Wars Q&A Answers for ActionFigureNews.ca

AFN: Wullf Yularen has seen a massive boost in importance to the Star Wars mythos with his expanded role in The Clone Wars, including his own Clone Wars action figure. Is there any chance that because of his new role as a fairly prominate character that we will see a single carded Legacy Collection(Or even Vintage Collection): A New Hope version of him in the near future?
Hasbro: We certainly hope so - we would love to see Yularen in his white outfit get updated and slotted into the Vintage lineup. However, that is unlikely to happen for the two year duration of the Vintage line, but if the line returns (or continues) he'd be someone that we'd like to try and get into the mix.

AFN: One of the popular Legacy Collection Exclusives from late in 2009, the Dewback Patrol, which was sold exclusively at Wal-Marts, was never really spotted in Canada, unlike it's counterpart, the AT-ST. Is there a reason for this and will the Dewback Patrol be seeing a wide release through out Canada at some point?
Hasbro: The Dewback will not be released in Canada. Wal-Mart Canada chose not to carry it. That production line is shut down so there is no chance to go back into production even if they did decide to get in on it.

Man, why does Wal-Mart Canada always pass on the good stuff? Case in point: The Dewback Patrol and DCUC Wave 10?

Are they retarded?

Some of my hopes are being dashed by this "Vintage" line. It seems almost entirely made up of re-do's.

Will it save me some money, yep, but two years worth of these core characters isn't even going to get me excited.

It's nice to see that we are finally getting a single carded Wedge figure as Hasbro informed rebelscum at least.

Yes, that is nice to hear. The only real "Vintage" piece that has gotten my attention thus far is the mail away Boba Fett, other than that, I don't want to start collecting repaints.

Wow, Hasbro told Snow Troopers that there are no current plans for Clone Wars versions of Bail Organa, Senator Padme, Dutchess Satine, The Pandoran Senator or Chancellor Palpatine.

Also it sounds like the ESB BAD is coming shortly so thats something I guess. Hopefully that means HK-50 too, yay!

But where is the Captain Colton wave with the YVH?

And a new Juno is coming:

Mace Windu/w Mando Helmet, Articulated Kit Fisto, Commander Battle Droid and a Camo ARF Trooper will be in Wave 3 of the Clone Wars figures this fall. Sounds like they are resetting the wave numbers again........

And the EU wave with Jacen, Jaina, K'Kruhk and more is now a TRU exclusive wave in the USA with some The Force Unleached figures sprinkled in. Oh dear........

Great! This just keeps getting better and better, don't it? Looking forward to the ESB BAD set though, only wish the YVH-1 line would hurry up and get here.
