It's been an uneventful year for us Star Wars collectors as a whole, and with the 30th Anniversary of TESB and really no toys aimed at that momentus event, it's been even more disappointing...
Until now.....
Feast your eyes on the first pictures of the soon to be released Vintage Collection, focusing on sculpts, paint apps and packaging meant to take fans back to the classic Star Wars days of their youth!!!
Enjoy some loose pictures of the 11 Wave 1 pieces!

Dengar: Last Bounty Hunter to recieve the super-articulated treatment. Comes with trademark rifle and backpack as well as a working holster and removeable codpiece.
Leia (Hoth Outfit): A figure considered long overdue since it was first introduced in 2000's POTJ collection. Her articulation is on par and the blaster is slightly big for her hands, but it just works.
Han Solo (Echo Base Outfit): First time this outfit has ever been made on a Han Solo figure, there is a good chance we'll see an inevitable blue repaint sometime down the road.
Luke Skywalker (Bespin Fatigues): Pictures don't do it justice. Hasbro went back to the drawing board to improve on the version released in 2007 and gave us a well articulated figure with an awesome face sculpt and the addition of the ball-hinged hips really allow for some dynamic poses that every Jedi needs!
AT-AT Commander: Although based off Captain Needa, this genaric figure features removeable armor and a new rank cylinder.
C-3P0: Considered an odd choice since we never saw Threepio's inner working in TESB. It is also a bit too small.
Dak Ralter: New head sculpt on same pilot body, but the perfect addition to the soon to be released new Snowspeeder!
Darth Vader: Originally planned for release in 2008, Hasbro never liked how the helmet turned out, but kept the concept alive with this figure. Head is removeable and is made in the Sebastian Shaw likeness!
Boba Fett: Newly updated (the 4th to be exact) version of the Evolutions Boba Fett. Features finer deco details and recolored weapons.
4-LOM: Straight repack of the Greatest Hits version from 2007.

The new Dengar will be a nice addition to my collection, the only Dengar I have is the one from the Fenn Shysa comic pack from 2008.
Also want 4-LOM, missed the 2007 Greatest Hits Edition.
Fett is a no-brainer, I have an extensive Fett collection and this one, although a slight retool of the Evolutions pack from 2007, will be a welcome addition to that part of my collection.
I'll be passing on the rest, with the AT-AT Commander a Maybe.

I am really digging these...brings me back to being a 6 year old, falling in love with star wars for the first time. I am very tempted to get the entire set.
