Niiiice! I'd paid a premium to get Norrin from a local Specialty shop years back and didn't regret it. It's still one of their best figures despite the height issue, and I'm really happy to see that fans will get another chance at getting him for reasonable price.

Now....they NEED to go ahead and re-release the classic FF too!

Considering how poorly the Retro carded FF sold, I doubt we'll see them again anytime soon. At least not before the movie.

That is a very fair point, and I generally agree. But I also think it's because the figures all kind of sucked. The blue of their uniforms was too bright. Reed had those stupid ET fingers and that silly pornstar grin. Then there's the phenom that is Karen Storm on that twig body. I thought Johnny Storm and the Thing were decent overall. Psycho-Man was poorly done, especially in their half-baked choice to not give him a button pushing finger. High Evolutionary I thought was solid, but he should have come with some techy gear.

I think a box set with the classic look could work provided they put them all on better bodies, given them better headsculpts and gear, and maybe even add in classic Annihilus to sweeten the deal. But alas, I think you're right about the matter with the movie. Sigh.

I missed the announcement that Silver Surfer was getting a re-release. Very nice! I needed him.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

I'd like to see the Fantastic Four released on newer pinless bodies. Too much to hope for, but both the blue/white and dark blue/baby blue costumes released in the next year would be faaaantastic.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

Was there any date given as to when the FF movie will be coming out? That's likely when the classic FF costumes will be released again.
