NECA Dead Space Isaac Clarke's Guts

Not custom, but in case anyone was curious about what the insides of Isaac looks like. The only I reason I took him apart was because I broke the LED off (had to resolder that, haha) while trying to remove his helmet/head. Heh, I was attempting to improve the illumination in there.

Oh, and if you're looking for replacement batteries I suggest checking out the Dollar Store. Got a pack of 10 for a buck!

Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture on the inside of the head before krazy-gluing it back together. I just ripped the front grill (?) of the head, then it was just a simple case of popping out the translucent visor (wasn't glued on). Afterward I painted the inside white, so the light would reflect better. Before doing so the interior was basically the same orangey-rust color as the outside of the helmet. You can kinda make out the white in the photos.

The waist is actually a ball and socket joint. If it wasn't for the armor across the stomach and spine, Isaac could bend forward and back.

And just for fun, what it would look like if you replaced the white LED for yellow, red, or green one. The one on the far right is the white LED.

Here's how it looks after I finished reassembling him together.

Looks like a Necromorph had some fun with him

My LED light broke off when my figure decide to jump to save Game Issac from a pack of necromorphs...acutally just slipped out of my figures and fiddling with him. Anyway, question about Dead Space 2 Issac figure. Im guess cimics stores are the best bet to get him? and Im guessing Toyrus isnt going to bring him in. Or any big retailer for that matter.

One with the plasma cutter and the other with ripper? Heh, still haven't opened the bloody-ver/ripper, maybe I should so I can remove the batteries...

Haha, butter fingers. I'll be sticking with the local comic store. I've only ever seen TRU and Zellers carry some of the NECA toys, but the selection is really poor. And I don't think I've ever seen anything from the Player Select line in the wild, other than a few Tickers here and there from the Gears of War series.

Can't wait! Hopefully it's next week, as all the online retailers are getting them in.

Re: NECA Dead Space Isaac Clarke's Guts

The batteries I bought from the Dollarstore and used for my Dead Space 1 Isaac were LR54 (or AG10). I haven't checked what kind the Dead Space 2 Isaac one uses, so I don't know if they're smaller or bigger than the DS1 Isaac. Here are some photos:

The batteries I used.

Here's what it should look like once you've successfully crammed them in.
