I’ve basically decided I’m not paying over retail for anything Classified at this point.

If I walk n a store and its there, cool. If I can get it online with free shipping, cool. Otherwise, NOPE!

It was Premium Members only for a while yesterday, then opened up to everyone. By then a few of the other figures had already sold out.

Sorry to hear it wouldn't check out, Ghostlurk. My order went in early yesterday morning, and with a limit of one per I hadn't tried to grab anything else afterwards.

I feel your pain, Realboss. I'm currently waiting to see if we get a shot at Breaker and Barbecue through TRU, or else I'll try to work a trade with someone when they get released. This line takes work, no disputing that. It takes way more of my time than it ought to, but I really like the product.

If it's too frustrating to get a hold of it might be a good time to take a break from it. The Hunt™ takes it's toll on us all.

I'm of the exact same mind lately - I have zero desire to do 90% of the work toy companies and retail should be doing. I already have a job, I don't need another full-time one jumping through Hasbro (or whoever's) hoops!

I've been lucky i think. Storm Shadow is the only scalped item I bought using money from selling old toys I didn't want.

I've also had some strange but lucky breaks on things leading to several free figures being scored plus the use of Aeroplan points to purchase some more "free" figures. Even managed enough toysnowman referrals to get a couple free figures.

GI Joe Budget for 2020-2021
$914.27 / 36 figures = $25.39 each figure
$70 / 2 vehicles = $35 each extra vehicle

And yes, I keep an ongoing list of every toy bought, when it was bought, where it was bought, and how much was spent for it or where the funds to buy it came from if not out of pocket.
