Re: Revoltech Discussion

It's unfortunate that the Yamaguchi line (the main line) for Revoltech went on haietus. I really enjoyed the monthly releases from them. The sculpts were just amazing.

Still, the new reboot line should be happening in a couple months. I'm curious to see what that will be like.

Personally, I would really enjoy some more TF Revoltechs.

Awesome. Can't wait.

I was at Soul of Anime today and they had those Street Fighter figures and I have to say that it was lucky my girlfriend pulled me away at the last moment, cause I was about to buy the whole lot. I didn't think much of them when they first came out, but in person, it was a completely different story.

I don't want to see those SF ones then. I originally wanted a few but then saw how tiny they were and kind of lost interest.

Yeah, they're small, pretty much on par with the TF ones in terms of size. But they're very cool. Which is why I am forcing myself to stay away from that store until I have more money.

Re: Revoltech Discussion

Got this one friday night.

You have to check out the hi res version HERE

It brought up a question, what do you do with all the accessories, heads and hands that they come with? I just keep them in the box's for now, until I can come up with something better.

Re: Revoltech Discussion

You could buy some tougher ziplock bags that are like the figma ones and try that.

Someone on 4chan uses a 3-drawer cabinet for accessories. I'm planning to get one too for my figma stuff so I don't have to go open the boxes each time I want to swap a part. The guy uses a Sterilite one from Wal-Mart but it's 8.5" x 11" and costs about $20. I think London Drugs sells something similar for $10, I've yet to check there though.

Ahhh I'm not sure why I had the feeling they were smaller than the TF ones. Too bad I just bought UM or I wouldn't mind getting a Guile one, looks cool.

Now that I look at the TF ones, you're probably right. Somewhere between GI Joe size and the TF revs.

I find I don't have room to keep the open boxes, so I just bought one of these Jars from a kitchen wares store. It's big enough so I can comfortably fit my whole hand inside and pull out a fistful of bits, but small enough so that it fits nicely on the bookshelf. I've sold off a lot of my Revoltech collection, but I still have a bunch of figures, so you can see the jar holds quite a bit.
