By that logic, Captain America would have never worked after these attempts;

And 'powers' wasn't the reason RDJ was such a hit with mainstream audiences and drew them to the MCU, and was the centerpiece of the MCU... it was his presence and charisma.

He raised the bar of every scene he was in with charm that won the general public over. He's a scene stealer.

The only other actor that can probably do that among the Phase 4 leftovers is Hiddleston/Loki.

If they can cast someone with that kind of presence and likeability for Reed (whos a major central part of the Marvel Universe going forward), they'll be in a good space for future phases.
Just because it's shrinking doesn't mean it's going away or that it can't ignite interest again years down the line with a younger audience. Like look at Vinyl's. No one cared about them 10 years ago outside of older adults and the market was pretty dead, then it hit a resurgence and now you have 20 year olds buying a form of media they didn't even grow up with.

No Powers wasn't, but having a really cool suit of armor most definitely helped. Iron Man is just a more aesthetically appealing Hero without a doubt.

The old Captain America movies had no budget and were made a long time ago. Where as the past Fantastic 4 films were made alot more recently and had budgets well over 100 million yet they still couldn't make it work.

It will probably also end up at Canadian TRUs.
Thanks. Where is Hasbro announcing all these news I don't seem to find them.
I only saw the iron monger 2 pack announcement from ToyArk.

This cap looks okay not the best likeliness or it might just be the lighting

Who said it's going away? I said the market is simply becoming niche and it's a shrinking consumer base.

Lol. It wasn't about the armor. It was about RDJ being damn entertaining. Look at the 50/50 split of genders for MCU films and wide demographic breakdowns. His charm and charisma won over the general public and made Marvel a '4th Quadrant' tentpole franchise.

As far as the F4, you shouldn't underestimate Feige. His track record is incredible. He's made everything work, from talking trees and raccoons, to a full Black cast, to Brie Larson. This ain't WB/DC. He's proven he knows what he's doing. The chances of F4 being another massive MCU hit are high.

Heck, Feige even personally selected Chloe Zhao, long before she was Oscar buzzworthy.

The films will continue to do great. The potential downfall of the action figures won't really have an impact on anything, because the audience has grown much, much larger than those who collect toys.
