So if these are $25 in the States, what are we looking at? $34.99? Assuming we even get them up here...

$34.99 sounds right. They are being announced as Walmart.com exclusives. As with past exclusives some do change with time.

Someone commented in JTA's news post that they contacted the author of the io9 article, and it's just the pre-order window that is exclusive to Walmart.
Other retailers will get to sell them upon release.

Why did it have to be Wal-Mart exclusives. I bet the preorders are only for the state's. Meaning none for Canada.

yakface also mentions that its not an exclusive to walmart but only that walmart gets preorders first and eventually they will show up on other retailers websites..

not sure what that means for us in Canada but finding anything in walmart is always hit or miss, ordering from USA always comes with shipping fees that no one likes to pay, the only hope is amazon id think with free shipping and if you get in there fast before they sell out.. thats if they will even end up on there.

Only other option would be EBgames but i've never bought from them before but i've heard you can usually call or go in and they can even sell you preorders on the spot even if they aren't listed on their site.

Maybe I'll call EB Games to see if they will have them.

I at least hope they are available other than Walmart.

How come neither of those show up when i do a search on the sites but the links take me to the product?

Is there some trick for finding figs im missing?

Just frustrating about those Walmart exclusives yesterday. The whole American site is out of stock on all of them. But still no news about a Canadian release.

Probably won't be any news for awhile. If this truly is only a preorder exclusive for walmart they are gonna give it some time before they announce when it will be up at other retails to allow walmart to sell as much as possible
