Awesome. Thanks for that. That's definitely good news

Just trying to sort out if I should ship it in the USA to my mailbox or take a chance and ship it to my house instead.

Thanks !
They charge a flat shipping rate, and all the taxes upfront. That way you pay everything and there is no other charge/tax/duty etc. when you get the item.

Shipping to me in Ontario was $32US. Overall with everything and exchange rate, the HISS Tank came out to around $485CDN .

I have never paid anything extra from Hasbro Pulse after purchase. They always include everything upfront so you don't get a surprise after shipping.

This makes my decision so easy...thanks for the input.

The Proton Pack was really cheap to ship too. I'm not sure how Hasbro isn't losing money on shipping such a big, heavy item but I'm not complaining.

Well they are getting a deal from FedEx for shipping considering they are a big corporation and probably do a ton of business with FedEx.

They probably aren't taking that big a hit on shipping, but it still hurts I'm sure, which is why they recently switched to "free" shipping for Premium members only (and only in the continental US).

Re: Haslab Projects General Discussion

Update:

Reva's Lightsaber:

1,351 / 5,000 (-2) Well it lost backers again. With so little time left I wonder if we might now start to see the backer total shrink with people realizing it won't make it.

27.02% funded with 1d 17h left.

HISS TANK:

15,816 / 8,000 (+171) So this was the lowest number of backers added to the project since it began. Of course it will likely go even lower once we pass 16,000 and have nothing left to build towards (maybe?). However it is still triple digit growth, and we are close enough now that we might be able to hit the fourth tier today, but definitely tomorrow if not today.

197.70% of funding goal with 36d 17h left.

It's safe to say it's over for the Reva Saber, RIP another Star Wars Haslab.

Update:

Reva's Lightsaber:

1,360 / 5,000 (+9) Well we are just about done, and this is going to go out with a whimper. Another failed BS Haslab. It might be time go back to TVC and give BS a break.

27.20% funded with a little over 18h left.

HISS Tank:

15,983 / 8,000 (+167) Oh so close. Should finally pass the final tier unlock in the next few hours. Then we get the long wait for the final day. Going along quite nicely still.

199.79% of funding goal with 35d 18h left.
