Re: Marvel Legends discussion

If some of you are really that worried about Thor And Odin drying up before they hit clearance just buy both now from Walmart if you have the money then buy them again when they go on clearance and return the other set you paid retail for.

If you want to save money, the Odin is $2 less than Walmart (which is selling the figure for $39.99 before tax) if you buy directly from Amazon.ca.

And it's at least $4 cheaper than Walmart if you buy from EB Games/Gamestop Canada with a Platinum membership card.

You don't have the 90 day return window with Amazon and EB though. If you buy from Amazon or EB/Gamestop and within the next 3 months it goes on clearance you're screwed. The extra $2-$4 you save from buying at Amazon or EB isn't worth losing out on the 90 day grace period for returns Walmart has.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

TRU raised prices again on Legends, GI Joe to $34.99 each. That's 3 increases in 1 year. Insane.

This explains why the Infinity Saga figures are so expensive because everything is going up.

It's crazy how not too long ago in 2015 or 2016 we were only paying $24.99 a figure. Hasbro figures have went up a whole $10 in only 5-6 years. That's just insane if you think about it.

And doubled in 10 years. "Return of Marvel Legends" line was around $17 when I started collecting in 2012.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

Picked up a Hydra Stomper today. I was on the fence about this figure due to price, but seeing it in person and handling it changed my mind.

This is a HHHUUUGGGEEE!!!! boy!!

The thing is massive, so much so that it almost doesn't fit in the package. I loved the design when I saw it, and this just makes me love it more. Now I have to cave and get a Captain Carter to go with it.

Well played Hasbro/Marvel, well played. You got me again.

Very true. I guess either way has its advantages and disadvantages.

I guess one could also see if Amazon will eventually mark the figures down too.
