I really hope these show up at Canadian retail! I would love to get my hands on them.

are these walmart exclusives? If they are, I have low hopes for these coming to canada. I might have to get some help for these ones. I definitely want 3 frost giants

My son (actually me, but dont tell my wife!) really want these as well. I am going to have to find someone who is heading to the U.S. as shipping would be extremely expensive I imagine.

Anyone who got the last gigantic battle sets have any advice on how they did it at a reasonable cost?

For the last Giantic Battle sets, I was able to snag both Red/Blue and Yellow/Blue Goliaths, and 3 Skrull giants.

For the most part, I got help from board members on the Fwoosh (another toy collectors site). So if you can make some friends that way, usually works best. I do remember getting one of the Skrull Giants on ebay for $15 shipped.

The biggest kick in the butt was, that after being released at retail for a while, the 1st series GB went on clearance to as low as $10/each.

Thanks for the advice. Maybe I will try and sweettalk someone on there to see if they take pity on the new Canadian guy. I will keep my eye on e-bay as well and keep hoping that they show up here!

Seems like there's a larger collecting community in Toronto than Vancouver.
I'll see if I can get some help from my friend outside Canada. I've been supporting the Gigantic Battles line since the Icons line have been canceled. ALways fond of larger scale figures for some reason.
