Went on a border run, first store I hit found web wing spider-man. End of the day, got that, spidey/mj, spider/ vulture ml. got 5 of possible 7 wonder woman dcuc multi. Also Damian Wayne dcuc. swb Lando and qui-gon

Action Figure Haul - Wednesday June 28th, 2017
Star Wars Black Series 6" Baze Malbus and Chirrut Imwe
These two arrived today from Entertainment Earth. They are part of the solid cases of each that Hasbro has been releasing slowly. Although Northmen Collectibles emailed me (I had a preorder for both with them I now cancelled) saying that Hasbro has been forcing retailers like them to purchase the case assortment with Baze and Chirrut that also contains the pegwarmers like Jyn and Krennic so they may not get them as they don't want to buy that assortment and be stuck with figures they can't sell.
What the heck Hasbro?!?! Brutal. Glad I was able to get them elsewhere. As much as I want to support a local Canadian retailer I can't do so and just miss out on figures. I know it's not their fault. Sorry NC!!!

Interesting. After hearing that, I am VERY glad that I picked them up from EE.
Who knows, maybe we will be eventually drowning in Baze and Chirrut, but I hate leaving it to chance.

I don't think it's that Hasbro is forcing small retailers to buy the assortments, small retailers don't even buy from Hasbro direct.
The problem with the solid cases is that they often don't even come into stock until the market is close to saturation and there isn't the same demand for those figures.
I've done it a couple of times (Nick Fury, Deadpool) and in both cases I ended up selling a bunch of them at a loss.
The Baze and Chirrut wave was just an abysmal case pack that isn't friendly to ANY type of retailer, big or small.

What I said was directly from an email from NC. They are being forced to buy the case assortment instead of the solid cases. Whether that's Hasbro or their distributor I don't know they didn't specify.
