The decision makers should deserve a rock buttom to clean their brain out.

John Carter might have done better if they had figured out what to do with it. The source material could have made an interesting sci-fi movie. Instead they just made a muddled mess out of it. Battleship was going to be bad no matter what they did, its a movie based on a board game.

As for GI Joe, I was looking forward to it and I'm not a GI joe fan at all. Part of me hopes it does well in 9 months and part of me hopes it falls flat on it's face. Unfortunately either way the executives in charge won't understand why it succeeded or failed.

Normally I'd agree with you but I can't stand Channing Tatum so knowing he dies is a highlight for me.

Obviously the film means nothing to them outside of its $$$ value.

When the film company itself is giving away a major character death in efforts to explain the situation I just want to toss them in a garbage can and never worry about them again.

Why don't they just give away the whole film and send it straight to DVD.

Re: Problems Behind GI Joe Retaliation Delay Explained

Previous reports and the trailer seemed to indicate that Duke dies in this film, so I can't say this is a surprise, but it is odd to give away a big spolier like that in a press release. Honestly all I really wanted was a line thrown in at the end that said "Doc says Duke's gonna be a-okay!" even if Duke was never heard from again.

I'm not going to claim that I will boycott this film or anything crazy. I was pretty pumped for it, but now I just feel let down. Hopefully when March rolls around, they'll have built some more hype around it to get me excited again. Either way, it doesn't sound like they have much faith in the film, so I doubt I will pay the inflated 3D price.

That's the first thing I thought of, they're gonna pull an animated bit at the end fo the movie.

So they delayed the 30th anniv stuff for the new movie and now they've delayed that. Hasbro seems like it's run by the kids it's trying to sell toys to and GI Joe has had such poor distribution here in Canada in the last couple years, I've stopped buying it all together.
