Re: Star Wars Black Series discussion

This came from Amazon today. The Grogu Christmas Sweater sold me to add this to my wife's Grogu collection.

Wow! They had at least 2 of each of the latest BS wave except the HK Droid, which they only had one.

They had at least 5 or 6 holiday troops. Maybe more as they were at the top shelf and there were two rows and I didn't check to see how many were behind.

I'll try again tomorrow.

Maybe they will restock from storage.

I think you're right that it must be on a store-by-store basis. Mine for sure will not take back any of the collector toys which is why I only buy from TRU as a last resort now, especially when they have so few good sales any more on Hasbro stuff.

I'm trying to remember if they told me it was final sale before or after I paid, I think it was before, right after they scanned the item. I mean, it didn't really come as a shock since I knew almost anything Hasbro is now final sale over there... my store thankfully does still let people return Transformers toys, I'm not sure if every TRU does that.

I also looked at the receipt and there wasn't any "Final sale" in the receipt's printout, so the TRU computer system may still letting GI Joes be returnable depending on the individual store's policies, which is why the lady had the big red stamp that let her stamp "final sale" onto the receipt.

Re: Star Wars Black Series discussion

After calling a few stores last night and reading on the sightings, I think the Hera and pre vizsla wave are only found at the newly opened toysrus stores right now.

Yeah, the Metrotown store had nothing. The grand opening for Station Square is today, so that's probably why they have these big shippers. It's got Marvel Legends with it as well.

Just to follow up on my earlier post. I just got back from my TRU, and the cashier confirmed that collector-oriented figures are NOT part of the holiday return policy, they are definitely final sale.

So if you're lucky enough to be near a TRU that has a different policy than mine, consider yourself lucky.

Wonder if it's an Ontario thing. I've asked in the past about this and every time, the employee is clueless to it.
