This is probably a bootleg, but the Black Series bootlegs have been pretty good. I have a bootleg Boba Fett and Clone Trooper and they fit right in with the legit Black Series.

Generally Hasbro prints a series of numbers on the backs of legs and sometimes on the bottom of the feet.

More often than not you wont be able to tell a KO from the real deal until its in hand. If the seller is in an Asian market I can almost assure you its a KO.

Some bootlegs turn out great, some mediocre and some are straight up terrible. I bought some Revoltech TMNT bootlegs and id say 2 of 4 are real nice while the other 2 suffer from crappy loose joints and some sloppy paint apps...probably cost me $50 for the set as apposed to $60-$75 per figure for the real ones. I'm fairly satisfied with those figures and the KO Neca TMNT are just as nice as the originals for a fraction of the price (sorry to talk turtles in a star wars thread, but these are bootleg figures I have knowledge on)

It's a roll of the dice, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose.

Okay so if there is the number on it than most likely it is legit? Or is it always legit with the number on it?

As far as I know, but I could be wrong.

Have you checked any online classified places for the figure? I scored my 2nd Vader for $30 in the winter

Re: Star Wars Black Series discussion

A lot of the time for Star Wars figures, they aren't so much bootlegs as they are factory rejects. So the quality varies depending on the QC issue. Some people have suggested they might also be produced by the factories on the side, during "after hours" or once the mold runs have been completed. So there's a good chance they'd still have the number stamps on them depending on what processes they went through on the line. I've purchased a few from the "tunghori" seller before, never had an issue with them that I can remember, but it's been a while since I've looked closely at those figures. They are perfect for cheaper army builders.

So the Reviews of Asoka have been really positive. Considering home much I disliked her in the very first Clone Wars Movies, I'm surprised how much I like her now. Doesn't hurt that she is a complete bad-ass in Rebels.

I'll throw some thoughts out there. Ahsoka looks great besides her eyes (see my eye mod earlier). The skirt gear is great. They do not hinder leg articulation.

On the down side she's hard to stand cause she's top heavy due to her head. Wish the elbows were double jointed like the knees. Lightsaber hilts are super flimsy.

Still a good representation of her Rebels character. No Regrets. And yah, I too hated the Clone Wars child version of her. Rebels did her justice.

I found her sarcasm and flippant attitude unrealistic for a potential jedi.

Re: Star Wars Black Series discussion

Just got my Luke Ahsoka and Kanan order from Walmart's site loving all three boxes were pretty dinged, Luke's being the worst. Not a big deal because I opened them but if you are a boxed collector hold off the ship them in bubble envelops. Now having Kanan and Ahsoka in hand I really want the rest of the Ghost crew and possibly some villans like Kallus or Inky
