I have the same thing. 2 charges weeks ago and I never got a a shipping notice. Pimp Daddy Destro showed up unannounced and I am waiting for the other mystery charge which I feel has to be my remaining HasCon stuff.

Ya, I was kinda shocked when they brought it up to the counter for me at the post office. I'd expect something like that from Sears back in the day. I wonder if marking everything you order from Amazon as a "gift" would help protect against that.
