Re: McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse toyline

Does anyone know if this will be the exact same thing as the single releases (apart from Superman's headsculpt and the diorama piece)?

Stand-alone Devastator available online. A steal at $25.

Thanks for this. Grim Knight is also available for anyone else still looking. I can finally stop considering the $40 ones on Kijiji

From the looks of it yes. Just a new Superman head sculpt and maybe foil version cards.

The Darkfather wave and most of the Justice League waves are up on Amazon.ca. Just search McFarlane and you'll find em.

The sites having a meltdown right now. It keeps saying "something went wrong" every time you click on a figure.

So is the only difference between the current deathmetal batman and this next one is that it comes with a guitar instead of a scythe?

Yep, plus the Darkfather BAF piece on this newest one. Based on the pics though, the new one seems to be a bit darker in the face, whether that's just lighting or not though, I'm not sure.

Dang. I prefer the scythe of the standalone, but want the BAF piece.
Of course, that was the intention, to sell more figures.

Somewhat disappointed that the Death Metal Batmen don't have different head sculpts. At least that helps justifying buying the same figure again just for a different accessory.

I didn't see the Justice League movie figures last night. Will add them to my list.
