This is accurate. My Nemesis TF had the wrong wing flap. They offered me a TF for the trouble...after they asked me to return it to swap or refund the toy and I refused as I doubt I'd get that deal again...they sent me some Battle Optimus toy for kids 6 and under from 2020 this week.

Sigh. I would've taken the missing part lol

Re: G.I. Joe Classified Series 6 inch discussion

Not Classified related but The Full Force Podcast posted a link to Heritage Auctions who are doing an auction for a collection of Joe items and there are quite a few rarities, especially carded/boxed/graded.

Here is the link:

I do find it funny that some of the figures clearly show the O-rings have degraded because of how the figure is sitting in the bubble. I can only imagine how fragile some of them are now. The same could go for the vehicles, especially the Sky Patrol vehicles with their chrome, and any large thin plastic pieces. I snagged a Defiant sealed almost 20 years ago and one of the big blue doors had a piece cracked off even before I opened it. I can only imagine what 20 more years has done to some of the bigger items.

Either way this is a great auction to see some nice, rare, items come up.

when i hear "Heritage Auctions" I can't help but remember the Wata Games scam that Karl Jobst revealed.

Re: G.I. Joe Classified Series 6 inch discussion

So on another board there was a discussion about the size constraints for vehicles in Classified and it got me to thinking. I came to realize that there is a good chance we could have 20, or more, vehicles by the end of 2024 in the Classified line.

This came out of someone posting about the Haslab HISS having a feature in the lighting that I wasn't aware of. If you hold the button for a couple of seconds all the lights come on at once and then turn off after a few seconds. Then it repeats on it's own every 15 seconds (approx.) until you shut it off.

Granted there are a lot of small vehicles, but now that they have opened up to larger vehicles, even mid-size like the VAMP, the options really do start to expand.

Anyway here is what we have/know so far:

COIL
RAM
TF RAM
Flight Pod
PP Flight Pod
Serpentor's Air Chariot
HISS Tank
Draonfly (already sold, just waiting)
Maybe the Drone from Scrap Iron due to it's size??

Then we have coming:

SMS w/Techno Viper
Ferret w/Scout
VAMP w/Clutch

That is 12 vehicles so far, and we know there are at least two more in the leaked list (no idea what they are yet). Plus we know we will get another Haslab vehicle this year so that puts us at 15 vehicles and we are only in January. We still have 11 more months to go and I can see 5 more vehicles easily being added to the lineup (whether released, or pending).

My hope is that two of the next possible vehicles to be made, outside of the obvious MMS repaint of the SMS and VAMP repaint (whatever it is) are the Devil Fish and the Firebat. Both are single person vehicles so they would be big-ish, but not too big. The Firebat may be closer to the VAMP than the Devil Fish, but they would both be fairly reasonable in size. As an added bonus they are some of my favourites.

I think we'll see repaints as the next reveals, but hopefully we get some new molds of vehicles revealed this year as well.

I like the vehicles at lot. My wallet kinda wishes they would release some of them -- particularly smaller vehicles -- without a figure to help keep some of the costs down.

Got around to opening shadow track and gotta say…even though I have zero connection with this character, he looks like an absolute nightmare inducing individual. My copy won the QC lottery and I have no issues with any part of this one and all the accessories are also perfect. You win this round hasbro.

Finally got Mutt and JY from Amazon today. Took long enough to ship considering it was in stock on the 15th. It also arrived unsealed but there is nothing missing or broken or signs that it was further opened.

I really like that they gave JY a harness, makes for good poses of Mutt holding back his partner.

Man this line makes me want to start collectin GI JOE. This line is by far the best line from Hasbro right now. Legends and Black Series just seem so underwhelming in comparison when it comes to tooling and accessories.

I would be lying if I said GI Joe Classified wasn't my favourite thing to collect.

It's not just the better tooling and more accessories but also the creative freedom given to the line since Hasbro owns it all. Every new character release is something we haven't seen in 6 inch form before so it fells very new while triggering the member berries.

Throwing up pictures of my fav shelving unit! Wondering if I can actually get 50 figures to fit on one shelf.

Re: G.I. Joe Classified Series 6 inch discussion

I just ordered the Python Trubble Bubble from Pulse. Main trigger was TRU raising the price from $66.99 to $69.99 and not knowing when they'll ever get them in stock. I'll get a 2nd if I ever see it on sale or clearance at TRU.
