What's your favorite toy scale?

Just wondering what everyone's favorite scale for toys are? You can list specifics or just in general.

My favorite for Transformers is the deluxe size. And in general, when it comes to humanoid figures, it has to be 3.75" for me. I prefer the smaller sizes because of the fact that they take up less space on my shelves. Nothing worse to me than having a giant plastic monstrosity staring back at me.

I find that over the years, it's been proven that great detail can be put into smaller sizes, given the right engineering and thought. eg: Concept Bumblebee, upcoming Alternity line, GI Joe 25th anniversary, etc.

My ultimate toygasm dream? Having a verse crossover in my favorite 3.75" scale between DC, Marvel, GI Joe, etc etc etc. Sigh.

Re: What's your favorite toy scale?

I like deluxes for TFs as well, I also agree that they seem to have more detail and hurt less on the wallet too. It's easy for deluxes to crowd up my desk though.

For my Marvel stuff I like the 6"-ish scale just fine, but the new MU figures do look nice.

figmas are roughly 1/10-1/12ish and I'm perfectly fine with that since the detail/sculpt is always top notch.

deluxe transformers are great! And as for humanoid figs, I used to love 6 inchers until I bought 2 Marvel Universe figs. Now I love 3 3/4!

Re: What's your favorite toy scale?

I really prefer the basic size or smaller with my TFs, it makes them easier to fit into my pocket or book bag when I go out, the same with other toys as well.

plus they are less conspicuous when you are playing with them. I have plenty of larger scales too, but for the most part I try to limit myself on larger figs not only for lack of room but price can be an issue.

the new MU line is pretty neat however the only character out right now I like is Iron man.
