Why is the Supermobile so much more than the Batwing, aren't they both the same price in the US?

I really like the Batwing but was surprised by how much bigger the Supermobile was. I think that, and the fist action feature, probably account for the price difference.

I can only assume it's because the Supermobile is bigger than the Batwing.
Online and in some stores the Batwing was $19.97 U.S. whilst the Supermobile was $29.97. When I rang mine through on a cross-border trip, the Batwing came up at $29.97, but I pointed out the online price and it was adjusted.

Insanity if true, as these are under $10 USD. I saw a W1 restock Sunday but didn't see a price tag on the peg.
Even the GS price of $16.99 for the figs is high IMHO.
I also saw the Batwing @ GS, and with that getting a US price increase whether by accident or design, paying under C$30 with your Edge discount may be the best we get on those vehicles.
