Usually the Walgreens exclusives, like Mystique, require deposits.

Honestly, it seems random. I didn’t need a deposit for Stan Lee or the Stepford Cuckoos. It’s been a while since they asked for any of the figures I preorder. Got a bunch of Star Wars Black Series on now and didn’t need to put cash down on any of them.

Do they get like 2 of these for the entire country? Sold out. Why Toys R Us hasn't figured out the whole "pre-order" thing is beyond me. They could corner the market in Canada for collectors if only they did this, but what do I know, I'm no retail expert!

You make it sound like they make the toys too. They're bound by distribution that Hasbro decides, and we live next to a very large market that takes a good slice of that pie last I checked.

Almost none of this is Toys R Us' fault. If anything i'd rather have a company fill their orders to what they actually receive instead of Amazon who sells you hope with 10000 preorders only to disappoint you when they actually only get two.

Picked up super skrull wave Thing today and looking for a trade. Grabbed this figure for my nephew as he had me drive to 3 different stores last weekend to find one and now all of the sudden he doesnt want it. Maybe a pipe dream but I'd like to trade for the Doctor Doom.

That random xmen code they are referring to could be for Age of Apocolypse wave but its 752654.
