What are the odds that the VHS two-packs coming next year will include a animated Doc Ock? I'd like to cancel my Silk/Doc-Ock two-pack.

Even if it did happen, you'd have to buy it from Hasbro Pulse and pay $30US in shipping costs, basically the cost of a second figure.

If the idea is to save some money, I'm not so sure it would work out.

I received my Japanese Spider-man (online order) back in early September. Tbh it's a toss up which ones go out faster, at least from what I've seen.

Yeah ordering in store can be tricky, especially if it doesn't show up on my Platinum account.

In store tends to get stock later than online orders. You might want to call them and ask.
