Re: Thundercats Super 7 discussion

Time to revive the thread a bit.

So who's in for a Thundertank? C'mon it will be super cheap and should be easy to display. Right? So again, who's with me?

Re: Thundercats Super 7 discussion

Seriously though, that is a tall order for the Thundertank. I wish I could say I'm on the fence about getting one, but really not.

I'll bend over, and think happy thoughts as I pay through the nose for this. At least this time they are giving us 2 months to preorder rather than the usual 1 month. As well as a payment plan. Hopefully there is a few add ons to make it more appealing. Also they take PayPal for preorders, TAKE NOTE HASBRO!!! So I already have the funds to pay for the preorder.

Super7 is definitely making it tough to support them with all the delays, early mistakes, and now some questionable pricing . Then we have the rumoured Silverhawks line. It is getting expensive.

I have spent crazy money on other big ticket items so I don't see me passing on this, especially since it won't be anywhere near the numbers of Unicron, the Khetanna or the Razor Crest.

Re: Thundercats Super 7 discussion

Also to get away from the usual money/pricing talk, here is my speculation on wave 5 (whenever it gets announced):

Bengali (the last of team B)

Berbil 2-pack (the "out of left field" choice for this wave)

Vultureman (last of the main mutants)

Safari Joe (lots of villains to choose so I went with a favourite)

Still waiting for their wave 2 figures.
It's been so long I forget if I even preordered wave 3.

Not going with the Thundertank as it's just too big, no room for vehicles with all the toy lines I collect.

I think the Thundertank looks fantastic but I'm not sure I am willing to spend that much on it, and I have no idea where I would put it. Also, I have so far not purchased any Super7 ThunderCats.

The ThunderTank

Is ANYONE going in on a Super7 ThunderTank?

I was wondering what it came with, and thanks to Pixel Dan I put together a quick video showcasing what this beast comes with!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLDqElPwgBI

But at $450 US + Shipping... Man its a tough call for fans.

Re: Thundercats Super 7 discussion

Yeah I am in for one, but I am waiting until near the end of the preorder window.

It looks like Canadians have to order through either BBTS, or EE to get this as Super7 is no longer taking orders from international customers. BBTS & EE are their official partners when you check out the link for international orders.

The problem is BBTS is asking $500 + $90 shipping (cheapest option).

EE is asking $450, but their cheapest option for shipping is $180!!!!!!.

So 3ither way it is at least another $130 on top, plus any customs that come with that price.

As I said, I'm getting one, because the chances of this ever being made again as slim-to-none, and slim just left the building.

No idea. Read on another site someone went through the whole ordering process at sideshow, then stopped short to see what shipping would be for them.

However they said it wouldn't give a final total for shipping so still not sure.

Re: Thundercats Super 7 discussion

Just got my confirmation email from Super7 about getting my "booster pack" with the replacement parts for the screw up on Panthro and Jackalman.

They also posted a video showing how to replace the mistakes. Jackalman is super easy thankfully. Basically just unclasp the shoulder piece and clasp the new one in place and done.

Panthro seems fairly simple, but time consuming. I am not sure I am all that comfortable using a hair dryer to loosen his shorts, and then using a small knife to wiggle them off, then doing the same to put the new ones back on him.

Also the proper colour guns for Jackalman make a huge difference, and an extra new head for Panthro is a good little bonus to add to the apology.
