These are very recent looks. I do wonder if Mcfarlane is going for way too narrow a target audience. More fans will know the george perez looks, even new fans who want to read the classic stories of their favourite heroes.

George Perez's Teen Titans look hasn't been "mainstream" for decades. If anything I would argue that more fans would recognize the Teen Titans looks from the cartoon shows, and recent comics before their original looks.
Granted older fans would probably be good with the original looks, but for a retail line I think more modern looks are warranted first, then after that go with classic looks.
Also this is Todd McFarlane, and so far with his DC Multiverse line he has shown an inclination to go heavy on recent looks/storylines for waves with some classic looks/stoyrlines thrown in for good measure. Especially when the look is so classic that it will probably sell anyway (Superman, Batman, etc.)
The original Teen Titans' looks are classics, but I don't think he sees them as classic enough to warrant a wave on their own right now. Hell look at the Dick Grayson Robin he just sold out on his site. That is classic as classic can be, but he still only sold it as an exclusive on his site, on a reused "female" body.
Hopefully I am wrong, but for now I don't see him doing the other Teen Titans in their classic looks anytime soon.
