Marvel X-Men 97 Retro Figures Released in Canada

Thanks to reports from AFN members chaingunsofdoom & Cspray we now know the Marvel X-Men 97 Retro figures have been released in Canada. This wave includes Wolverine, Rogue, Storm, Bishop, Magneto & Gambit.

Yup saw this at Gamestop the other day, this wave is hitting, Easy pass for me, these are cartoon figures.. but they look cool enough for what they are.

Yeah if you have the previous versions, these aren't necessary. They aren't that drastically different. Just pinless, and cartoon faces.

i just want a regular Cyclops as I missed the first version.

So from watching the Fwooshcast, it seems that Bishop is the only figure in the wave that is a completely new mold.



He is also slightly larger than a standard ML male buck. He isn't as huge as say Colossus or AOA Sabretooth, but he is larger. They put him side by side with US Agent (comic) and he was noticeably larger.


Everyone else in the wave is a combination of new and old parts (mostly old from what people are saying).

I could tell Wolverine and Storm had re-use but not the others. That sucks.
