I like foreign figures, so I would mind keeping Glenda. I do hope they show the last tier and it's something that would push people to back. I'm in on the Dragonfly. Just hoping we get all tiers.

I think we are on track to unlock all the tiers.

However if it does slow down, as long as we unlock Glenda by the final 3 days it should be all good. The last few days, especially the last day, always see a bump (when a project is already funded). I can see at least 3,000 backers being added on the last day or two.

Just had a thunk.

I wonder how people would react to other live action film figures? Thinking kinda specifically of The Rock, Bruce Willis, Dennis Quaid, Marlon Wayans?

I know I could care less, but particularly Rock and Willis could be marketable.

Perhaps, but given the general consensus online towards all the live action films, I'd imagine Hasbro would consider them pretty toxic for merchandise, especially given the way all the Snake Eyes movie stuff warmed.
The moment a really good Joe movie is made though, the sky would be the limit, especially if the film was perfectly cast.

Both the first two films were profitable(even if just barely)and had sizeable toy lines at the time.

Snake Eyes was a complete bust of course, so that may be on their mind.

This current wave (rocknroll wave) is fantastic!
Expensive as well. I wouldn’t touch anything from the movie lines.

Can’t wait to find rocknroll and bazooka!

I love the new Rock N Roll. I passed on Bazooka cause I have the TF one. I may get him if I find him on clearance later on.

I would have no interest but some might like them, even if more for the actor than the character from the film. But I wonder if there would be likeness rights issues. No way to know, but I could see the rock having in his contract that they could use his likeness for 5 years or something and then that's it. Who knows?

And yeah, hasbro might consider those films pretty toxic from a marketing perspective. And they're very "yesterday's news".

I had to laugh a bit when I read the sentence "the moment a really good Joe movie is made". I have zero faith that will ever happen, at least not one that would satisfy me. It's sad really. The material is there, in the comic books, but Hollywood has to make it theirs. So it'll never happen. At least not in my lifetime.
